Roy Hodgson has no fears for his job, but shouldent he?

Roy Hodgson has been out stressing, that he has no fears over losing his job. He even believes that no one could do his job better than him stating:

“Because basically speaking unless there is a major inflow of cash into the club and the team is going to be changed from one moment to the next then whoever takes my place will be doing a similar job with similar players"

Basicly what Roy Hodgson is stating is, that the team is not good enough. Beeing in at number 9 in the premiership, one could argue that he is right. But in that sense, on could also arhue that the like of Sunderland, Bolton and Newcastle are better teams than Liverpool and even West Bromwich (22 points but game in hand).

That is just rubish. I dont se many players from the above mentioned clubs, who can step straight in the the Liverpool team.

Another point Roy Hodgson tries to use as an excuse is, They being the owners:

“They realise we can’t turn things around overnight and they also realise that the team I am working with is not the team I put together. You don’t turn things around overnight and they are aware of the magnitude of the task.”

Let me see, new players in this season: Brad Jones, Poul Konchesky, Raul Meireles, Joe Cole, Milan Jovanović, Danny Wilson, Christian Poulsen, jonjo Shelvey and he brought back Fabio Aurelio

That 8 new players ( 9 with Fabio Aurelio) out of a squad of 27 players. That means that 1/3 of the team is Roy Hodgson. And i dont think that RH i to bothered about having the likes of Reina, Carragher, Gerrard, Kyut and Torres in the squad.

I gues that what I am trying to say is, that I am tired of listening to bad excuses, and instead admit:

Yes you are affraid of losing your job, because the results nor the style of play have been good enough, considering the material available to you.
