Why Roy Hodgson wont be buying players in january

There have been a lot of rumours linking players to Liverpool. Just today I read in the daily mail, that Damien Commoli had instructed Roy Hodgson the buy the stars of tommorow, and recommended Manchester City´s ´Michael Johnson.

Let me explain which role Damien Commoli has at Liverpool. He is deirector of football strategy. The idea is, that managers comes and goes, and a director of football strategy will makes sure, that the club stays on the right path.
