Roy Hodgson slams Joe Cole

Roy Hodgson has again opted to openly critizise one of his players in the press.

Glen Johnson was critizised a month ago, leaving a tence relationsship between the manager and the player.  (the rumour is, taht Glen Johnson will leave Liverpool in january). And this time it is Joe Cole.

Roy hodgson has openly told Joe Cole, that he should stop complaining about not playing central, and prove a point with his feet.

But RH does not stop there. Now he also claims that Joe Cole is not his signing (a bit strange cause he did take the credit for it when he started Liverpool FC), and that he might not have signed Joe Cole if he was more settled in the club.

First of all. this is again typically RH, not to take responsibility. Everytime something goes wrong, it´s not his fault.

Second of all. I think that everybody would agree that Joe Cole have not had the best of starts in Liverpool. I, for one, expected him to be much more a key player than he is.

But, when a player is no doing well, and his selfconfidence is a little shattered, it doesent help to openly critizise him like that. If I was Joe Cole, I would think that the manager doesent really want me here.

What is going thrue RH´s mind, when he makes statements like that? What is he trying to achieve?

Instead of openly critizising Joe, he should have keept it indoors. Al he is doing now, is demotivating one of his players, making the rest of the squad uncertain, and send the signal to the other teams in the premiership, that there is still big problems in Liverpool, making teams like Blackpool, Newcastle and other teams think, that they can beat Liverpool, and ecspecially at home, to give their own supporter a entertaining night.

Roy Hodgson, you ask Joe Cole to stop complaining, maybe it is time for you to take our own medicin.
