Kenny Dalglish is ready to take over

Kenny Dalglish called for unity before the Bolton game. But he also called fore a discussion concerning Roy Hodgson´s future in Liverpool.

It is believed that Kenny Dalglish has once again offered to take the position as caretaker manager at Anfield, in talks with the owners after the Bolton game. The idea is that Kenny Dalglish will bring back the unity and support to a struggeling Liverpool team. This will ease the pressure for action from the Liverpool owners, and give the owners time to find the right manager, because despite rumours of the opposite, the owners have no new manager up their sleeves.

Despite Saturday’s last-gasp win against Bolton, Hodgson’s persistent failure to elicit consistent results and performances from his team, as well as the breakdown of his relationship with the club’s fans, has convinced Fenway Sports Group to bring forward their initial plan to review his position in the summer.
