Some weeks ago, Roy Hodgson went public critisizing Joe Cole, and claiming that in fact it was Christian Purslow who signed Joe Cole, and that he (RH) probably wouldent have signed Joe Cole, if it was down to him.
Today, Joe Cole is claiming that the players are behind Roy Hodgson. Seems to me, that Joe Cole in his 6 months at Liverpool have learned the Liverpool way, while Roy Hodgson hasent.
Joe Cole maintains that the dressing room is united in the support of Hodgson and that the solidarity will help Liverpool to prosper in 2011.
“We are all in this together,” said the England international. “We are all responsible – win, lose or draw. So it’s on all of us and we are all there fighting for this club, for the manager, the owners, the fans.
It is nice to see Joe Cole stepping up, taking responsibility. It would be nice if Roy Hodgson did the same.
